This policy explains how Nologo International collects, uses and protects your personal data when you visit our website or buy from us. We follow Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and, for customers in the European Union and the United Kingdom, the GDPR and UK GDPR.

This website, www.nologointernational.com, is run under the Nologo International brand by ASHIRWAD JEWELLERY SDN. BHD. (SSM 202401036270), 94A, Jalan Masjid India, 50100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. We are responsible for your personal data. You can contact us about privacy at nologointernational@gmail.com.

What we collect

Order details: your name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address, the pieces you buy and your order history.
Payment details: payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal. We see the payment method and whether the payment went through, but never your full card number.
Identity checks: for high value orders, or where the law requires it, we may ask you to verify your identity (see our Terms and conditions). We use the document only for that check.
Messages: what you send us by email or through our contact page.
Back in stock alerts: your email address, if you ask us to tell you when a piece is available again.
Website use: technical details such as your IP address, browser and the pages you visit, kept for security. Only if you accept optional cookies, how you found our shop.

How we use it and why

To take, process and deliver your order and to help you with it (to perform our contract with you).
To keep tax and accounting records and to carry out the anti-money laundering checks that apply to dealers in precious metals (to meet our legal obligations).
To prevent fraud and keep the website secure (our legitimate interests).
To send back in stock alerts and, if you agree, updates and offers (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
To understand how shoppers find us and improve the shop, only if you accept optional cookies (your consent).

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not make decisions about you based only on automated processing.

Who we share it with

We share only what each provider needs to do its job:

Stripe and PayPal to take payments and prevent fraud.
FedEx to deliver your order, including your name, address, phone number and the customs details of your parcel.
Our website host, which stores the website and its data securely.
Vimeo, which plays our product videos with its Do Not Track setting.
Professional advisers and authorities, such as our accountants or the police, where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of these providers process data outside Malaysia, the European Union and the United Kingdom, for example in the United States. Where that happens we rely on the safeguards the provider offers, such as standard contractual clauses, so your data stays protected.

How long we keep it

Order and invoice records: 7 years, as Malaysian tax law requires.
Identity documents: only as long as the check and the law require.
Back in stock alerts: until the alert is sent or you unsubscribe.
Messages: up to 2 years after your last contact, unless they relate to an order.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

see the personal data we hold about you and get a copy
correct anything that is wrong
delete your data, where we do not need to keep it by law
limit or object to how we use it
move it to another provider
withdraw your consent at any time, for example to marketing or optional cookies

If you are not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Personal Data Protection Commissioner in Malaysia or, in the EU or UK, to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office).

Keeping your data safe

The website uses an encrypted connection. Payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal, so card details never reach our website. Only our team can see order details, through password protected accounts.

Children

Our shop is for adults. You must be at least 18, or have a parent’s or guardian’s consent, to place an order. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
